Arriva and Stagecoach run most of Merseyside under Merseytravel, Blackpool Transport serves the Fylde coast, Transdev covers Burnley, Blackburn and Rossendale, and Stagecoach Cumbria reaches the Lake District.
Getting around by bus
Blackpool's promenade is served by both buses and the famous tramway. In the Lakes, Stagecoach's open-top and lakeside routes are the practical way to reach Windermere, Grasmere and Keswick without a car.
